Program Information

This work study position provides an opportunity for emerging talent to work and learn in an interdisciplinary applied setting. Working as part of a team within Audio in Film & Media, the Podcast Producer will support the production of podcasts and related activities. This program is appropriate for professionals in the early stage of their careers that have a familiarity and an interest in podcast production, content delivery through podcasting and streaming, and in digital archiving.  

This program will offer mentoring and training from experienced staff and guest visiting faculty in broadcasting, content delivery, and audio production. The work study will learn new computer skills utilizing audio editing software. He/she will gain and develop an understanding through exposure to a media art production environment. International faculty and guest artists from all artistic disciplines will be available for interviews, and sound clips can easily be collected from our many performance and recording venues. The work study will have access to professionally-equipped studio spaces.
