2:30 - 3 p.m. Explore your artistic talent with children’s book illustrator, Stéfanie Gignac, as she leads a step-by-step tutorial of how to draw Ursa the Grizzly from “A Beary, Berry Good Day/Une «baie» bonne journée.”

Biographies
Laurie Schwartz is a founding member of Parks Canada’s theatre troupe, Mountain WIT. Through her passion for nature and skill in the arts, she inspires stewardship of our national parks. Laurie is the recipient of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for her service to Canadians.
With her background in animation, Stefanie Gignac likes to bring life to characters through her illustrations and cartoons. She currently works for Parks Canada as a graphic designer and enjoys teaching art at special events.
