The 49th annual Festival in Banff from Oct. 26 - Nov. 3, 2024, featured 90 films and over 80 events, bringing and stories of adventure and exploration from around the world to Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Banff, Alberta. Mountains of FREE events include talks, exhibitions, and the Festival Marketplace. The Festival also features events and screenings at Lux Cinema Banff, artsPlace Canmore, and other partner venues in downtown Banff. Tickets: $20- $42 ($70-78 CAD for all day films). Online films were available in Canada and USA from Nov. 6 - 13, 2024

Dawa Yangzum Sherpa (NEP) the first woman from Nepal to become an international mountain
guide; Renowned American rock climber Beth Rodden (USA); award-winning author ofThe Golden Spruce and Fire Weather John Vaillant (CAN); and the team who recently free-climbed Riders on the Storm in Patagonia: Sean Villanueva O'Driscoll (BEL), Nico Favresse (BEL), and Siebe Vanhee (BEL); and many more!
