Start your day off with a spin! Indoor cycling is one of the most enjoyable, safe and thorough cardio exe rcises out there – and it is appropriate for all levels of fitness. Using a variety of drills and training methods, the instructor will lead you thr ough a workout that will include work on cycling technique, strength, pow er and speed.

Reserve a bike 24 hours prior to the start of class by con tacting the Sally Borden Fitness and Recreation desk.

Enjoy the power of connecting th e mind, body and spirit with Vinyasa Flow Yoga. Improve your flexibility,core strength, balance, and stability though various postures and stretc hes. This is a dynamic style of yoga where the postures flow from one to th e next with emphasis on the breath. All ability levels are welcome. We reco mmend newcomers arrive 10-15 minutes early to speak with the instructor abo ut any concerns they have. Modifications are given for all postures and par ticipants are encouraged to work at their own level.

Note: There is a $ 2 rental fee for yoga mats.

All persons aged 3 years and under are not permitted in the cli mbing gym except during specific times.
All persons aged 15 years and unde r must be supervised by an adult when climbing outside of a registered prog ram.
Drop In Rates:
Adults $15.00
Youth (ages 4 – 15) $8.00

Parents d o not have to pay a drop-in fee if they are the supervising adult belaying a child. They do, however, have to pay if they are belaying another adult .

Yin Yoga
Fitness

Drop In / Plus Member Class

The practice of Yin Yoga is ofte n considered “yoga for the joints – not the muscles”. It targets the conne ctive tissues of the body (tendons, fascia and ligaments) and focuses on c reating a release by holding poses for longer periods of time. Yin Yoga po ses are generally more passive and meditative in comparison to flow classes , providing a calming and balancing of the mind while increasing the mobil ity and flexibility of the body.
* Dress warm or bring layers as yin is no t as heat generating as flow classes.

Note: There is a $2 rental fee foryoga mats
