This photograph of students golfing the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course’s infamous 4th hole, “Devil’s Cauldron,” was part of a series of promotional images featured in our annual program course calendars in the 1940s. Along with highlighting the growing number of creative programs offered in our earlier decades, these calendars emphasized the opportunity for potential students to explore the Bow Valley during their visit.
