The Davidson Studio in the Leighton Artist Studios
This star-shaped studio, named after its architect, Ian Davidson, provides acoustic and visual privacy for composers working in this space. It features a Steinway baby grand piano.
The north-facing elevation of this studio is windowless for privacy and energy conservation, directing attention to the marvelous views to the south side of the studio. A generous deck allows artists using this studio to be immersed in this view. The uncluttered floorplan and large, clear wall spans allow composers to view music scores in progress.
