BANFF, AB, March 23, 2018 – Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity’s Board of Governors, President and CEO Janice Price, and the Senior Executive Team has continued to review and strengthen all anti-harassment policies over the past several years, and recently instituted campus wide training and orientation to ensure that people who work, teach, learn, or visit Banff Centre know it is committed to providing a safe environment.

The intensive anti-harassment training program is mandatory for every employee at Banff Centre. To date 83% of our workforce has taken the course, and all of our staff will be trained by March 31, 2018.

The training and orientation program includes a review of the existing Safe Disclosure Policy (whistle blower), which ensures that all staff know who to contact specifically in the event of an incident of serious wrongdoing.
